Awards & Recognition
We are incredibly grateful for the kind support and recognition we have recieved since opening Allerford Tea Room.
As a small family run business, being recognised for what we do means a great deal - not just for us, but to the wider village and community we are proud to be a part of.
We are so very proud to have been awarded Bronze in the prestigious Bristol, Bath, Somerset (inc. Glos) Tourism Awards for Best Cafe / Tea Room 2025/26, recognising excellence in visitor experience, customer service and overall quality.
For us, being recognised amongst the regions other amazing businesses and making the finals felt like a huge win, but to come home with a trophy was truly more than we could have hoped for. You can find our award trophy proudly displayed in the tea room, not as a show piece but as a reminder of how far we have come and what we have achieved so far.

Featured in Somerset Life
We were honoured to be featured in Somerset Life Magazine, which recognised Allerford Tea Rooms as welcoming place to stop and pause a while whilst exploring Exmoor.
Being featured in such a well-loved publication was a true honour and has helped introduce us to many new visitors. A copy of our feature is available to read in the tea room, or by clicking here.
While awards and recognition are special, what matters most to us is the trust of our visitors - people choosing to return, bring friends, and recommend us to others.
Every visit, conversation and shared moment helps to shape Allerford Tea Room and all that it is.
You can read about our visitor experiences here on our Trip Advisor or Google Reviews.
