We are so very proud to have been awarded Bronze in the prestigious Bristol, Bath, Somerset (inc. Glos) Tourism Awards for Best Cafe / Tea Room 2025/26, recognising excellence in visitor experience, customer service and overall quality.
For us, being recognised amongst the regions other amazing businesses and making the finals felt like a huge win, but to come home with a trophy was truly more than we could have hoped for. You can find our award trophy proudly displayed in the tea room, not as a show piece but as a reminder of how far we have come and what we have achieved so far.

To be recognised once again, and this time in three different categories, is something we are incredibly proud of.
As a small, family-run tea room tucked away in a little Exmoor village, we are against some fantastic businesses from across the region. To know that our efforts to create a welcoming place for everyone, including our four-legged visitors, have been recognised means the world to us.
We are guaranteed a Gold, Silver or Bronze award in each category, with the results being announced towards the end of November 2026.
Whatever the outcome, we are immensely proud of how far our little tea room has come and so grateful to everyone who has been a part of journey.
2026/27 Tourism Awards: Triple Finalists
We were honoured to be featured in Somerset Life Magazine, which recognised Allerford Tea Rooms as welcoming place to stop and pause a while whilst exploring Exmoor.
